In May 2010 MAXAM Central Queensland celebrated 1000days free of injuries on the work-site.

MAXAM have been operating from their current headquarters at East End Mine, Mt Larcom since moving from Bajool in August 2007. From here they service Cement Australia and numerous independent quarries and are yet to lose a single workday due to a work-related incident. This is a significant achievement for the team and they should be recognised for their diligent adherence to MAXAM Safety standards and professional conduct.

The milestone will be recognised by a small celebration on site and the presentation of an award commemorating the achievement.
